Project Engineer Energy & Offshore

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the interdisciplinary coordination of an engineering team in multidisciplinary projects. In this role, you support the Project Manager with budget, planning, delivery times and quality. For specific projects, you may also act as Project Leader. You will maintain commercial contacts with (potential) clients and supervise tender processes for multidisciplinary projects. In addition, you make professional decisions regarding interdisciplinary overlaps and provide support in preparing (multidisciplinary) specifications, draft specifications, contractual documents and general terms and conditions.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (e.g. Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering).

• Solid experience in the offshore sector and the ability to translate this knowledge into successful designs and project outcomes.

• Preferably, experience in different technical roles within engineering projects, such as Project Engineer or Lead Engineer.

• Strong negotiation skills with both clients and contractors.

• Flexibility to occasionally work on-site with clients.

• Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
