Subcontract Coördinator

To strengthen the procurement and subcontracting team, we are looking for a Subcontracting Coordinator. In this position, you are responsible for the full cycle of subcontracting and procurement of services and materials. You will be the link between suppliers, internal stakeholders and project teams, ensuring contracts, deliveries and performance are managed smoothly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sourcing process for subcontracted services, including preparing and issuing RFQs.

• Select and evaluate suppliers on price, quality, capacity and reliability.

• Prepare tender packages and coordinate handovers to budget owners and project teams.

• Negotiate contract terms in cooperation with the Legal Department.

• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual terms.

• Manage variations, claims and change orders.

• Analyze market developments and evaluate supplier performance.

• Provide input to cost estimations and budgeting for new projects.

• Actively contribute to safe and efficient project execution.

• Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in a technical field (e.g. Mechanical, Civil, Offshore or Naval Architecture).

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar subcontracting or procurement role.

• Knowledge of logistics; NEVI or similar purchasing education is a plus.

• Excellent command of both English and Dutch, spoken and written.

• Experience in the offshore construction industry is a strong advantage.

• Strong analytical and process-oriented mindset, with commercial awareness.

• Skilled negotiator, hands-on, and a team player.
